Admissions Opened
11 March 2025
The official WCED portal opened for all new applications for the 2026 school year.
Admissions Closed
15 April 2025
The application window for new learners in Grade R, 1, and 8 concluded.
District Placement Phase
September 2025 Onwards
Unplaced learners are now being processed by the district placement phase.
Required Documents
Ensure you have certified digital copies of these documents ready for upload to the WCED portal.
- The last official school Report Card / results of the learner.
- Official Birth Certificate of the learner.
- ID of parent(s) / guardian(s).
- Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement).
- Study permit issued by Home Affairs (for foreign learners).
